NATIONAL ENGLISH TOFFEE DAY 2018

Now, here is one sweet I keep on being confused with.  Is it toffee or caramel?  Finally I learned the difference and please allow me to share it with you.  Toffee is a bit brittle made mainly from water and sugar; while caramel is softer because of butter and milk.  With this in mind, let us join in this year’s National English Toffee Day, which is a sweet favorite that goes with a load of almond nuts.
