Professionally acknowledged as Rudolph Valentino, he was born at Italy as Rodolfo Alfonso Raffaello Pierre Filibert Guglielmi di Valentina d’Antonguolla. Valentino has graced several films like The Sheik, The Son of the Sheik and several more. In 1920’s he gained such popularity that he earned titles such as The Sheik, The Great Lover and The Latin Lover. In 1923, he was able to publish a book named Day Dreams.

He was visibly involved in his career from 1914-1926. His health started to decline when he was operated due to complication of acute appendicitis and ulcers. After the surgery he acquired an infection called peritonitis. He died on August 23, 1926, at the age of 31.
